Summer Love by RaShelle Workman

Simone needed a miracle... She needed him.

Twenty-year-old Simone St. James was a librarian from the tourist town of Bandon, Oregon.
Two summers ago - before all hell broke loose - she met Sam. He was everything she ever wanted in a man: smart, funny, and gorgeous. But after eight perfect weeks he left, and she hadn't heard from him since. Until she received an email from him asking her to meet so he could explain.
It might be another empty promise, but Simone had to see him one last time, even if it was just to say good-bye.

Rated: PG-13 for mild language and mild sensuality.

My Review:

Nine months ago Simone had a summer fling with a guy she barely knew, now a mother to a beautiful little girl she has a date to see him again but there is more than just the baby they share together that she has to tell him..she is dying of cancer.  Sam is blown away by the news but is willing to do what it takes for her.

This was a very quick read but it was so well written that I was very sad to see it end.  The dynamic between Simone and Sam is explosive and you are absorbed into their story.  RaShelle has once again written an amazing book and I look forward to more from her!
