The Return by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Return Release Week Blitz banner

We have been dying to bring you the Release Blitz for Jennifer L. Armentrout's THE RETURN! THE RETURN is a New Adult Paranormal Romance and is a part of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Titan Series. Seth is looking to be just as dangerously delicious as we all hoped!!

  The Return - Cover

Amazon | Barnes and Noble | iBooks | Booksamillion

THE RETURN Excerpt: Shaking my head, I pivoted around and walked down the long hall to my dorm room. As I reached the door, the shiver was at the base of my spine again, dancing its way up until it traveled across my shoulders. My heart turned over heavily and I closed my eyes. Twice in one day.
Oh God.
I’d never felt this more than once in any span of several days. Swallowing hard, I wrapped my fingers around the doorknob, battling the urge to turn and scan the hall, because I knew no one would be there. Dragging in a deep breath, I opened the door and stepped inside the room. My brows flew up, and I forgot about the feeling as I closed the door behind me. Erin was sprawled on the floor, palms pressed down on a mat, her spandex-covered behind jutting up toward the sky. She turned her head, peering at me from under her armpit. Her armpit. “How in the world do you get your neck to bend like that without killing yourself?” I asked. “Skills, yo.” Erin did yoga and meditation religiously, saying it helped merge her yin and yang together or something. She’d once told me she had a hell of a mean streak, and contorting herself into painful-looking positions helped keep “good vibrations” around her. Which was strange, because I’d never seen Erin lose her temper in the two years I’d known her. Erin unfolded herself from some kind of downward dog or upward pony and grinned at me. “Check under the bed.” Curious, I dropped my bag and stepped over her legs. Bending down, I lifted the bedspread and my eyes grew to the size of saucers when I spotted the bottle. I snatched it up and clutched it to my chest as I whipped toward her. “José!” Her grin spread into a smile. “The best boyfriend ever.” THE RETURN Synopsis: The Fates are cackling their bony asses off... It's been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they've given him have been violent and bloody--which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He's got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet. Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy's deal might be, but it's a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her. But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all. Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.   Author PhotoAbout Jennifer L. Armentrout: # 1 NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling author Jennifer lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The Legends and Dreams Bundle

That Annual Day of Romance is upon us and my advice? Show yourself a little love by buying a bouquet of BOOKS! Well, technically, it's called a Bundle, but I think "bouquet" works just as well. I know I'd much rather get books than flowers any day of the week, especially on Valentines.

So, here's how it works. Right now, GHOST HAND, the first book of The PSS Chronicles, is selling in the Legends and Dreams book bundle on WeBundleIt HERE featuring 8 AMAZING books, including multiple-best-selling authors Rebecca Moesta and Kevin J. Anderson!

  Legends Bundle

And the way book Bundling works is pretty cool.

First, YOU get to set YOUR OWN PRICE for the Bundle (minimum of $3, but you can see that is a steal). If you pay under $13 you get 5 books, and if you pay over $13 you unlock three more books for a total of 8! That's a lot of new authors to explore and enjoy.

Second, you get the NEW, REDESIGNED for 2015 cover of GHOST HAND.

Third, 10% of all proceeds GO TO THE CHARITY "Stories for Students" which focuses on providing free books for kids in K-12 classrooms.

So, why not give yourself some bookish love, support some great authors, and give to charity? I can't think of a more romantic thing to do. Can you?

Or will he feel that she is better off without him? book links
Gavin awoke to kisses being planted on his lips, his eyelids, his cheeks, and his neck. He kept his eyes closed so that he could bathe in the affection and the hotness of her lips, as her body pressed against his. It was a feeling that he knew would never grow old. He wanted to move, but then he knew she would stop, and he wasn’t ready for that yet. “I know you’re awake, sleepy head,” she said, smiling. “You just think your kisses will expire if you show signs of life. But I promise you they won’t.” “Okay, in that case…” he said, pulling her on top of him and looking into her eyes. “Damn…do you even know how beautiful you are?” he asked her. “Because I am honored to look into this face—these eyes, and be able to say that you’re mine. It’s almost…like…how did I function before you came along? Because I swear these feelings that I have, I’ve never experienced them in my life, Christina. Never have. Came close, but this…this is something different.” “Wow, Gavin,” she said, before sliding to a more comfortable position, and burying her face atop his heartbeat. She had no words; she only knew that she wanted to be near him and to be held by him. He rubbed his hand up and down the length of her hair. When he felt slight dew on his chest, he became slightly alarmed. “Baby, look at me. What’s wrong? Come here,” he said, positioning her alongside him and turning so that they lay facing one another. “Did I say something wrong?” “No, baby. Not at all. I’m not crying because I’m sad. Just the opposite, in fact,” she admitted. “I’ve never had anything consistently good in my life. Something happens that’s good and then it’s snatched away, and it just feels amazing to finally be a part of something that I feel has the potential to be permanent.” She paused momentarily, lifting her face so that she could look at him when she spoke the rest of what she had to say. “…And I can’t think of a better person to share that feeling with, than you.” Her stare lingered. “I love…your eyes,” she said, before lowering her gaze away from his. Gavin smiled and lifted her chin prompting her to revisit his gaze. “And I love…you,” he said for the first time since they had been together. He watched her eyes grow in size, then try to shrink back so that her astonishment would go unnoticed. “You love me?” she asked. “I do love you, Christina. It’s not a new love either. I think it’s been there since the beginning, I just didn’t say the words because one, I didn’t know if you felt the same. Two, I didn’t know if you’d think I was crazy for feeling this way so soon. And three, I honestly never believed it was possible to fall in love with a person as quickly as I’ve fallen in love with you.” Christina couldn’t hold back her happiness. A wide grin spread across her face. “I love you so much, Gavin,” she said, blushing, and trying her best not to go super soft on him and start with the tears. “I’ve never actually said that to a man before—a man other than my father,” she admitted. “Amazing…” he sighed. “So, I really need to treat your heart right,” he said, solemnly. “If I’m only second to your father, that’s huge.” “No pressure, right?” she said, her eyes smiling against his. He softly brushed his hand against her cheek. “Pressure or not, I plan to take very good care of this love. It deserves all of me and nothing but the best of what I have to give. And I plan to give that to you.” “You’re already off to a great start, I can tell you that off top, baby.” Her smile widened, her cheekbones rising as she did so. “I already know why you’re gushing. You are not right. You’re trying to get Lil’ Gav going and you know I have to leave babe.” Christina reached down, and began to stroke against his reaction, causing him to release a reluctant moan. “Babe…” he whispered. For real…I gotta gooo. I hate to, but I have to,” he said, resting his lips across the top of her forehead. You want me to be able to perform my duties tomorrow at work, right?” He had deliberately made the statement with subliminal undertones. He was messing with her. “I couldn’t care less if you perform for them, as long as you perform for me.” “And see…don’t you always get a stellar performance from your guy?” he said, motioning his head up and down in agreement. “So you know I’m more than good for making this up to you,” he said, trying to inch away slowly. She grabbed after him. “You’re a tease, Gavin Brooks. Why get me all riled up with all that talk about love, only to leave me all wet and horny? That’s so, so disrespectful,” she said, playfully. “I’ll make sure that tomorrow, there’s not an ounce of wetness left…Scout’s honor,” he said, smiling. It’s just my clothes…my work clothes. You know that, right babe?” He was trying to further his point. “Baaaby,” Christina whined. “Why don’t you ever remember to bring them for the next day? You know how long it takes me to get into a comfortable sleep after you leave? You do know that you can have as much stuff here as you want. Then you wouldn’t be to blame for my sleep deprivation at work the next day,” she said, pouting. “I know, sweetheart. I just get so sidetracked. When I leave out in the mornings, you’re already on the brain. Then I get to work and I’m thinking about you there, and then anticipating getting off work so I can come be with you, it’s all I can focus on. That’s how I forget.” “All the more reason that when you get in the house, you should just pack up some stuff and throw it in the car so that when you leave in the morning, you’re good to go,” she suggested. “Orrr…I could always come with you instead.” Gavin was sure his heart skipped multiple beats. He knew at some point she would make that suggestion. And why wouldn’t she? He had to turn away from her before his fair tone began to deceive him and give way to the flush arising within. “No, babe. It’s like the worst of the worst bachelor pads you’ll ever encounter,” he lied. He hated lying to her, but it was all he could do right then. “We’ll work this stuff all out to where I don’t have to long for you as much,” he said, staring into her eyes. “Seeing you at the end of my shifts is definitely a highlight to my days.”  “I feel the same way, baby.” “Well, babe, as much as I hate it, I really have to get going. It’s almost midnight. My alarm will be blaring in approximately four hours.” “Okay. Let me walk you to the door so I get can one last kiss.”   about the author clip_image004Perri Forrest was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in sunny California. She describes herself as a trilogy---a Businesswoman who navigates through Corporate America flawlessly from Human Resources to Project Management, a Sociologist with a burning desire to save the world, and an Author who loves writing life into fiction. When Perri suffered the devastating loss of her first cousin on her birthday, in 2006, with a few months left to complete her undergraduate studies, she barely made it through. A good friend not only suggested that she begin blogging to journal her moods and thoughts, that same friend gifted her with a newly designed blog platform, which birthed her first e-journal. The blog opened a whole new world for Perri and served as a place she could express candidly, about life. When her blog was discovered and she began receiving compliments on not just her candor, but on her writing style as well, it fueled the fire, and thoughts of penning a novel resurfaced. The lingering doubts of, "Who would even want to read your work?" were replaced with, "Worry about an audience later, and just do it." And that she did. Perri writes what she likes to call, "Multicultural Mayhem, laced with Sex, Cursing, Sass and the Occasional Happily Ever After." Perri plans to perfect her craft and delve into other genres, down the line. With "Amazon bestselling author," added to her list of credits, Perri is in the writing game for the long haul and has no intentions of putting down her pen any time soon.

The Rhyn TrilogyThe life of nineteen-year-old Katie rarely goes the way she wants. Just when she believes things can’t get much worse, a baby immortal claiming to be her son and death’s personal assistant appear on her doorstep. Everyone around her begins to insist she’s someone she’s not, while demons, deities and immortals threaten to tear her life – and sanity – apart. Scared but brave, she confronts this new world head on, where she meets Immortals like Gabriel, a death dealer, and Rhyn, an outcast half-demon who claims her as his mate in a show of defiance to his Immortal half-brothers. Determined to spite the siblings that sentenced him to Hell, Rhyn rescues Katie from the demons and discovers what everyone is after: his little human has a gift that will safeguard – or annihilate – the immortal and mortal worlds. His defiance melts into possessive protectiveness of the fiery yet vulnerable Katie as he realizes the sorry truth: he’s the only ally she’s got, and he won’t leave her high and dry the way his brothers did him. Despite all odds, the unlikely pair begins to trust one another. Katie becomes caught up in the messy, dark political manipulations of the supernatural. The Immortals have no intention of letting her go – alive, that is, and Rhyn can only protect her if he accepts his place among the people he despises, a challenge given his status as an outcast. Meanwhile, the demons pursuing Katie are closing in, the Immortals lying through their teeth and the deity Death playing a game no one can predict. To save one another, they face the ultimate choice: Death or Hell. Life or Love. Katie’s life … … or Rhyn’s. Includes all three books in the bestselling new adult paranormal romance series, “The Rhyn Trilogy,” and the short story "Rhyn Trilogy: Origins."

blurb Anyone can say they're completely fulfilled with life. They can say all the right words and even behave as if not a darn thing is wrong even when their insides are hollowed out. And eventually, they'll search, dig, pry and perhaps bargain for a chance at satisfaction. If I can't be satisfied, then I guess I'll settle for what I can get. Right? Maybe? -Jezebel Jones ~~~~~ Jezebel Jones and Jason Marks have been the rock in each other’s lives for years. No one knows Jezebel as well as Jason, and vice versa. As Jezebel comes to terms with being alone, she decides to settle for her ever-faithful friend. Although she’s never loved him romantically, Jezebel would like to believe that she could. Will their friendship withstand the changes? And when Jezebel least expects to be swept away, she meets Aidan Broder. He stimulates her mind, body and soul. In the end, Jezebel will have to make a choice between a man that has always loved her and a man that wants to love her.

“I’m not a heartbreaker,” Jezebel responded. The pain had become too much to hide or hold back, especially after hearing the heaviness of his words. She clutched her throat, trying in earnest to stop the cries. “You’re already breaking my heart. Each second I see you torn over your friendship with another man.” Aidan shifted from one leg to the other. His hand slipped into his pockets. He was vulnerable, Jezebel could see it in the way his head kept adjusting away from her. “I’m sorry, Aidan . . .” she mouthed, her words drowning out in the midst of 1:30 a.m. traffic and distant sounds of the performance. “Can we leave?” Aidan nodded. Jezebel wrapped her fingers around his, taking charge for once, feeling the need to let him know she cared. She had forgotten how to care a long time ago. She texted her friends from the car, afraid of Aidan disappearing if she went inside. They drove in silence while she planned for the night ahead. Aidan pulled into her driveway and got out to open her door. She noted that the car was still running. “You’re not coming in?” she asked when he took her hand. Jezebel touched the sides of his face, then the nape of his neck. She attempted to kiss him, but he remained distant. “Aidan,” she breathed into his face. “You’re too complicated for me, Jezebel.” “I thought you liked that about me,” she joked. Her nerves tingled; she felt scared, nervous. “Let’s go inside.” “I’m heading home,” Aidan mumbled. “Why?” Jezebel recognized her inconsistency, even how unfair she was being toward Aidan’s feelings. And still it was difficult to just allow him to leave. “Please, stay?” Tears poured down her face, and she pressed into his chest. He didn’t initially take her into his arms. She saw how hard he was fighting his emotions. about the author clip_image005Janice Ross was born in Guyana, South America and migrated to the USA in 1980. Although her citizenship certificate now reads the United States of America, she considers herself a citizen of the world. Sure she has not physically been around the world and back, but she’s travelled in her mind and dreams. Janice is an author. She enjoys writing about social issues and personal experiences. Janice’s debut release was entitled Damaged Girls. She uses the three books in that series to detail the effects of different forms of abuse, discussing issues that are known to be taboo. Her next release, Jumping Ship, is a dedication to her country of birth and an introductory novella to the Island Hopping Series. It is a colorful and emotional experience of life, love and family. As of present, she is also a contributor to a short story collection – Just Between Us, Inspiring Stories by Women. And lastly, Loving Nate, a novella about the realities of losing one’s self to love. Janice enjoys reading. And is drawn to stories with distinct characters that she can love or hate, characters she can form alliances with or characters that she can swear off and despise. She is also weak for a good cultural tale, preferably in the form of historical fiction. Janice loves to be taken off guard by clever language and settings.
