Centaur Legacy - Nancy Straight

Camille and Drake are on the run from the head of the Centaur Council, seeking the mythical pasture of Thessaly and a family heirloom that may keep them safe. As their journey progresses from the rolling hills of Ireland to the snow covered forests of South Dakota, Cami learns more about her mother’s secrets, including a twin brother and a Centaur legacy that puts a death warrant on her entire family.

Camille and Drake don't know who to trust or where to hide. Camille’s family is quick to come to her aid, but who among them can be trusted?

A supernatural benefactor forces Drake to choose between being the man he wants to be and the Centaur warrior Camille needs him to be.

My Review
Forced to run off to Ireland in hopes of finding a family heirloom, the one thing that can stop Camille’s grandmother from hurting her; which then leads them to South Dakota the home of Cami’s twin brother.  Along the way, life isn’t easy and with Centaur’s trying their best to stop the two of them from being together, Drake and Cami will do just about anything to make sure that they will always be together.

While in South Dakota, Drake is tested and must choose what path he wants to go on and in doing so his life will be forever changed.

This series can’t get any better!  With Cami and Drake, two very interesting lead characters surrounded by friends and family who will do anything to help them out, their life leads them on a journey that neither of them are fully prepared for but jump in feet first.  I absolutely love the dynamic between them and how their love is worth everything and their choices are based on that.  Cami’s brothers and Danielle are still a fun addition to the story and you also get introduced to more people that I’m sure will have a big part in the story along the way.

Nancy once again writes a story that keeps you enthralled, on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next to the two of them and I will tell you there was a jaw dropper in this one :D
