Once Upon a Zombie Apocalypse: Episode 2 by Jennifer Malone Wright

The second installment of Once Upon a Zombie Apocalypse continues as Jade and Kylee fight their way out of Virginia Beach and head toward the Mason Dixon line. There, they hope to find Kylee’s family alive and well.

The virus, which is turning the world’s population into zombies, is spreading faster than either of them would have imagined. Chaos now plagues what is left of society, leaving death and destruction rioting in the streets. Many of the survivors have gone into hiding in order to stay alive.

Jade and Kylee refuse to hide. The need to find their families is even stronger than their will to live, and it is the driving force on the journey to find their loved ones.

My Review:
Jade and Kylee are now on their way to their families praying that they are still alive and safe.  Driving through the towns, the girls are noticing that many are affected and the one’s that aren’t are in hiding in order to avoid the zombies.  The girls stop to get weapons, food and hopefully some clothes for Kylee.  While there three guys come into the store, looking like the typical tourist….they have decided to trust the men however while collecting items, more walk in these ones not so nice.  It is after this altercation that the girls know they can trust the men and invite them to come with them.

I have enjoyed the story of Jade & Kylee right from the very beginning.  They are each other’s perfect opposite and it is because of this that I think the girls can survive the apocalypse.  I love the personalities of the girls and how they interact each with each other, still loving the other after things are said and done.  The girls are strong and have adapted to the disaster very well.  I look forward to seeing what lyes ahead for them and what they will find once they meet their family.

Great job Jennifer!!!
