Becca Langer was not a normal girl, she didn't have normal girl problems. For most of her life, she’s had to take care of herself, her younger brother Chad, and her drunk mother. She’s lived under the shadow of what her father did when she was ten years old. Forever branded by his actions.

College was her escape, she could get away and finally live. Her dream was to make it in the New York Ballet Company one day. That for her meant a long road full of hard work and dedication. She didn't have time for distractions, and Levi Klein was definitely a distraction.

Will Levi be able to crack through her tough exterior and really see the wounded soul underneath? Becca needs to be loved, but the question is, will she let Levi love her?

My Review:

Becca has had to deal with a tragic event in her life, to then grow up taking care of her younger brother and alcoholic mother.  The only time that she feels like she can be free is when she doing ballet.

Now 18 and in college, Becca is struggling to be normal.  Going to classes, making friends...something she never had and living the college life.  In walks Levi, a distraction that Becca didn't want.  Levi himself isn't what he seems to be but can't he be the one thing that is right for Becca or will things not work out?

I absolutely loved this book!  Becca has faced so much in her life, from the death of her little sister, to taking care of her brother & alcoholic mother to moving on to go to college to be "normal".   She is strong and is determined to make something of herself focusing on ballet. Levi is simply adorable...I mean he has a rough exterior but he is the sweetest man ever and well good looking too :)

Jessica did a fantastic job with the story, it was very strong and emotional and took you on a roller coaster ride...I was there with Becca; laughing, screaming and crying.  She describes each character perfectly, and because of this you can't help yourself from falling in love with them (not only with Becca and Levi but with her close friends, the ones who are their for her).

Definitely add this one to your collection today!!
