About Jessica Gibson

Jessica Gibson is a recovering bookaholic, she’s down from four books a week to a more reasonable one. It was that love of words and creativity that made her dream about writing her first book. That dream was hidden for years, always put on the back burner, filed away in the “someday” section, until her husband Matt gave her the kick in the pants she needed to actually get off her butt and write. Jessica and Matt live in Southern California and have a serious addiction to reality tv shows like Pawn Stars and American Restoration. They have one son and hope to add to the family in the near future. Follow the Book Tour Enter to win one of two paperback and swag packs from Hayson Publishing.

My review:

Ezzie is 17 years old and a witch which also means she sees ghosts.  Her biggest decision she has to face is whether to join her mothers or her grandmother’s coven.  Along the way it is her job so to speak to help these ghosts out to cross over.  Little does Ezzie know that she has been marked my a Mer.  Can Ezzie, Beau (her boyfriend) and her grandmother find out why she is marked, help the ghost that Ezzie keeps seeing to set her free or will everything just go terribly wrong??

Now I am a HUGE fan of Jessica’s work and this book did not disappoint!!  Right from the beginning you have strange things happening with ghosts showing up for reasons unknown all the way up to the “biggie” with the mark by the Mer.   I’m not saying that this book is action packed but the story line is great and things move along a good pace.  Events that take place throughout the book, help Ezzie grow as a witch, a person and as a girlfriend ;).

I love the dynamic between all of the characters in the book, even the ghosts :)  each one is unique and adds that perfect touch of information to the story line.  There is enough detail about each one that you can picture them in your mind and helps you connect with them.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone
