Blog Tour - "Gargoyle Addiction" by Livia Olteano

Gargoyle Addiction by Livia Olteano
Series: Otherworlds Summons #1
Publication date: July 2013
Genre: NA Paranormal Romance

Synopsis:
Summonari don’t trust. Under their command, they summon any number of creatures from the Otherwolds—but never trust them outside of the summoning.

Gargoyles don’t love. Fierce descendants of dragons, they function on power and fear—never love.

Karla isn’t the happily-ever-after type of girl. No territory-hungry guy is going to stick flags all over her unclaimed grounds.
Kann’s world is death and betrayal. As Dar Primus of Haus Varis, he’s expected to follow tradition but he’s not your regular gargoyle. In fact, he’s anything but.

One fateful Friday night, Otherworlds collide. Stuck together in one world or another, Karla and Kann face everything from Awakenings and turbulent love to Festnavals and bloodthirsty scorned suitors.
If there’s one thing they can’t escape, it’s the addiction to each other. And they’ve got it bad.

My Review:

What would you do if your favorite character appeared in your bedroom one night?  Well that’s what happened to Karla one night after parting, she wakes up to find Kann; a gargoyle from her favorite book series.  Although he so real!

Instantly there is a connection between the two and before too long, Kaan is dragging Karla to his world.

Can the two very different individuals make each other happy? Do they truly love each other?  What will do when others doubt them?

I was hesitant at first going into this story…the story itself sounded very interesting but I was skeptical as I haven’t ready many stories regarding Gargoyles.   The flow of the story moved along a good pace and the descriptions of the characters was good (you can actually picture what they look like)

I absolutely loved how Kaan turned out to be a character from the books Karla reads (there is more to this as well that I won’t go into so I don’t spoil anything). They both are very strong willed characters that want to be in love with each other but don’t want to deny who/what they are at that cost.

All in all a good book to add to your collection if you are looking for something other than vampires and werewolves.
